About Grace
Grace (she/her) is based in the Bay Area but open to travel opportunities worldwide!
Grace Reinhalter discovered her passion for yoga at a young age, first enrolling in a teen yoga class in her hometown, Silver Spring, MD. She found yoga to be the perfect complement to her many athletic endeavors and a useful tool to combat stress and anxiety. Grace continues her yoga asana, pranayama, and meditation practices to maintain a healthy work/life balance and to satisfy her need for mindful movement. In 2011, Grace earned a children’s yoga certification from It’s Yoga Kids and then with nearly 15 years of yoga practice under her belt, Grace dove deeper to learn and study more philosophical aspects of yoga and to train as an instructor to share her love of yoga through teaching. Since completing her 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher certification with Pete Guinosso’s Lighting the Path teacher training Grace has had the privilege of teaching yoga in a diverse range of environments such as rooftops, parks, docks, nightclubs, and online and for a diverse group of yogis including preschoolers, young adults, friends, family, incarcerated and formerly incarcerated youth, co-workers, and teachers for the past 10 years. Grace completed a 6-hour intro to Vedic Meditation course with James Brown Vedic Path Meditation in 2017.
Also, in 2017, Grace co-founded S3 Wellness with two experienced fitness professionals, Rena Marie Guidry and Kristi Major. Together, using their expertise, S3 Wellness created a custom and inclusive fitness experience combining 3 main movement modalities- yoga to build Stability, cardio dance to build Stamina, and strength training to build Strength.
Grace brings an active, playful energy to her classes, drawing on her professional background working in both youth and early childhood development. Classes are challenging yet available for all levels. Grace is passionate about yoga accessibility for all abilities and learning styles. It brings Grace joy to move with you so she hopes yoga inspires you in the same way it has inspired and complimented her own lifestyle!
As a lifelong pescatarian, Grace also enjoys the process of preparing meals and cooking wholesome, balanced meals using fresh, local, seasonal ingredients. Grace completed the 12-week Kitchen on Fire basic series with Chef Olive where she learned more about her typical trial-and-error cooking methods. Despite no other specific nutrition qualifications, Grace has years of experience and self-study in areas such as Ayurveda, intermittent fasting, plant-based cooking, budget grocery shopping, meal planning and prepping, and more. Grace wants you to feel confident in your skills and body to nourish yourself sustainably, feel full of energy, and simply feel good!
